Casa de Joglo in Uluwatu
Experience Bali from the cliffs of Uluwatu, where surf, lifestyle and a unique vibe come together

Uluwatu has a unique character within Bali. Located at the southern tip of the island, this area is known for its impressive cliffs, white beaches and world-famous surf spots. It’s a place with its own distinct vibe, where many people spend both their days and evenings locally.
Casa de Joglo offers a comfortable and stylish home base for longer stays. The rooms are more spacious and feature a separate living area and sleeping area, providing extra comfort and privacy. This makes the guesthouse especially suitable for students and digital nomads staying in Bali for an extended period.
The guesthouse includes a swimming pool, a shared kitchen and a relaxed atmosphere. Friendly and supportive staff are always present to ensure your stay is smooth and enjoyable.
What makes Uluwatu unique is that it truly feels like its own world. You’ll find plenty of cafés, restaurants and beach clubs here, so you’ll likely stay in Uluwatu for dining and nightlife. Unlike Kuta or Canggu, distances between areas are larger. A trip to Canggu can take up to 1.5 hours depending on traffic.
Because of this, you naturally settle into your own environment. With sunsets on the cliffs, surf beaches and a strong local atmosphere, Uluwatu is a place where you find your own rhythm.
Perfect for students and digital nomads who love surfing, a distinct vibe and a unique side of Bali.
Pricing
At Bali Base Living, we work exclusively with local Balinese guesthouse owners. This means that your rent is paid directly to Indonesia, and therefore all prices are listed in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR).
Each guesthouse owner determines their own rental price. We do not negotiate on these prices, as we believe in fair and respectful collaboration with local entrepreneurs. On top of the local rental price, we add a commission for our service and support.
Because of this, our prices are influenced by the exchange rate between the Indonesian Rupiah and the Euro. At the moment, the Rupiah is relatively favorable compared to the Euro, which makes staying in Bali more affordable. However, exchange rates can change over time, which may affect the final price in Euros.
To give you a clear and up-to-date overview, you can check the current exchange rate in the Currency Converter and see what your monthly rent will approximately be in Euros.
